Strong NNW over the whole UK by Saturday 24th. Dream on? - Tom. |

I believe it when I see it:-) Don't get me wrong Ron, I don't mean to be sarcastic at all, but this winter is turning out to be way out of all the forecasts made. Gavin. |

My lowest temp this winter so far -4 and just -2C last night. The geraniums still cling on:-) Lets have some frost, after all it is winter. Gavin. |

A polar blow
One thing worth remembering is that statistically the last week of
January and the first week of February are the coldest two weeks of the UK winter. Another words if you draw a temperature graph of the average day to day temperatures over a number of years. Combine that fact with a potential cold spell and bob's your uncle.
