the jet stream looks as if it will dissipate it to a degree but Ireland will
get most of what's left

we were in Bermuda in 1975 when a hurricane nearly hit

Everyone battened down , water got in etc etc . Very windy as you would
expect . Would you believe the local tv station forgot to tell...

Well Tudor I have experienced peasoupers of all colours and hues in Coventry
in the 50s
peasouper is in the context of not being able to see very far

We used to have some brilliant bright yellow...

Contrails - A major Source of UK Air Pollution ?

Again this morning I was reminded of how much cloud cover jets produce from
their contrails looking to the north where west to east traffic flies surely
this is a major problem for us in the UK...
