Depression tracks

As I understand it, down here in the south we might expect three or
four really beefy depressions per year- the sort with a F10 down on
the coast and 8 inland.
So has anything changed from this...

Here in West Molesey, deep in the Thames valley in the driest corner of Surrey,
my total up to Sat. am. was only 13.9mm. I would not bet on having had more
