8.15am and its already 25.5c and has been rising steadily since 6.30am.
A nice change as it has been very dull and colder over the past week
(not Friday) due to cloud and sea mist.

out of interest - something to do in the winter. does anyone know of an
open university course on meteorology. ive tried looking but their site
is wanting.

An awful lot of lightning now to the south and west, roughly 30 second
intervals. I would hazzard a guess at between 10 and 20 miles.
Mostly CG but no thunder heard at all in prestatyn. quite...

ADSL modems in a thunderstorm

Something I have only just thought about. Does anyone know if there is a
risk (as with regular modems) of damage during a thunderstorm to ADSL
equipment. I assume that there is but does anyone know...
