Looking for free online climatological charts/graphs for many U.S. localities

Hello,

I'm curious to know if there there exists a free online web site which
distributes climatological charts and graphs for many U.S. localities.
My initial search via Google did not find such a site (but then maybe
I didn't search correctly.)

Specifically, I'd like to find charts/graphs for daily mean maximum
and minimum temperatures and their extremes, and daily mean
precipitation. Here's an example of what I am *exactly* looking for,
which happens to be for Phoenix, Arizona:

http://earthsci.terc.edu/content/inv...iewlarger1.cfm

One would think that in this day and age of open software and free
data sources, someone has created such a web site to generate and
distribute these charts on the fly.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Got an interesting response when trying to use this page-
Climate for:Los Angeles,CA

No climate data for this city...try a bigger city in that area

Back to main climate page

OK, so what's bigger than Los Angeles, should I try NYC ;-)?
I tried a few other cities in the LA area, but the formatting
is screwed up, the wrong information is in the wrong slots, so
I gave up. It did work for Las Vegas, NV, though.
