A nice blue sky with wispy clouds-and as much colour as we get in autumn
around here. In the "wilderness" 60 km west of Calgary. Near the end of
Sept., the last hot day of the year.

Well I like it 8-)
This nicely paved road winds its way into the foothills of the Rocky Mtns.
and ends at a "not recommended for travel" gravel/dirt/rocks road which goes
through to a paved N-S highway into Kananaskis Country. Lots of picnic
areas and hiking trails along it. Most of it is closed in winter. On this
day I had my camcorder mounted on my bike so I now have a movie of this road
I can watch during the depths of winter (now to May).

That always makes living somewhere more enjoyable!

I used to Ride Motorcycles a lot, my last being an '84 GoldWing (which
was my "Car" for 2 years - I lived in the South end of the San Francisco Bay
Area then, no snow but attention getting Black Ice now and then!).
