A windy(ish) sort of night with lots of drizzle but nothing that heavy
rain-wise until the passage of the CF at around 10:45, even then the
really heavy rain only lasted a few minutes.
Maximum gust of 41 mph at 03:45, so nothing much to write home about
there, but the rapid frequency of these gusts made it seem a lot windier
than it really was.

Torrential rain and squall on wind veer as front passed at 1145Z. No
thunder or hail noted here in Mid Suffolk.

Net Weather Radar timings by

I'm not sure what is happening but I looked at the Net Weather radar
stated to be most recet at 0030hrs and then the Rain Today which had
0015 as the most recent. The rainfall front was considerably further
East on the earlier Rainfall Today one and looked more up to date. I
wonder if Netweather are putting the time of the screen change on rather
than the time of the issued imagery?

Still around 5cm of wet snow cover and lots of standing water. 33mm
last 24 hours mainly snow. Just fed the ponies and they were looking
bedraggled and the hay kept blowing away as did my hat. 2 mini
powercuts yesterday and lots of light flickering this morning.
