Brussels on Thursday 20th November
Mostly cloudy - clouds sometimes dark and threatening. Occasional
breaks in the low cloud from late morning onwards revealing extensive
high cloud above, but no sunshine. A few spots of rain in the early
morning and early afternoon. Moderate W wind veered WNW during the
afternoon and then backed to W again.

temperature dropped to 9.7C yesterday evening. At 09:00 today (20th)
it's back to 12.8C.
A good deal windier this morning. Currently a Force 4 - 5, with the
normal gustiness associated with a NW.

Here is a summary of the NWP output for noon on Monday.

The first half of the week will see rather cold northerlies give way to a
ridge, then by Thursday milder SW'lies will affect the UK as the ridge sinks
southwards. The outlook beyond that is a generally cool one, however, with
frequent incursions of somewhat cold air from the NW or north.

Hudson Bay -40 c but not cold enough for the Polar Bear.
What a load of twaddle. Blimey what temperature do the bears thrive
at then. What about the polar bears at London Zoo their lucky if the
temperature reaches a dizzy -1 c Should we be keeping them there? No
relase them to colder climes I say.
