[WR] Cool & unsettled, but still 'warm' by
Nick Gardner
Here in Devon, it may feel rather naff with predominantly cloudy skies and a
whole heap of rain recently, yet the temperatures are actually not too bad
despite the weather. Probably explains why the veggie plot is going mad.

Today's model interpretation (16/05/07) by
Darren Prescott
Here is a summary of the NWP output for 12z on Sunday.
Issued 0456z, 16th May 2007.
After a changable weekend, next week will start in much the same vein, with
scattered showers and low pressure close by. By the middle of the week
though the models split, with GFS very keen on bringing hot conditions from
the Continent over the UK. ECM shows the polar opposite though, with zonal
westerlies...

R & D weather monitor by
David Haggas
I have an R&D electronics, Margate Kent electronic weather monitor around 20
years old (inside/outside digital readout of temp, LED wind direction and
analogue wind speed & barometer ). Excellent product but now has faulty
outdoor instrument. I can't find any reference to this company on the
internet. Does anyone know if any parts are still available?

Thunder SW Essex [WR] by
Tom Bennett
I thought it was feeling close earlier this evening but I was still a little
surprised to hear a solitary crackle of thunder, quite close and loud, at
20:50 BST tonight. Nothing else since.
There was threatening cloud just to the west of me but little resultant
rain.

Today's model interpretation (15/05/07) by
Darren Prescott
Here is a summary of the NWP output for 12z on saturday.
Issued 0547z, 15th May 2007.
The weekend still looks changable for many, with brisk winds and all areas
seeing rain at times. Into next week there are signs of a change to much
warmer conditions with GFS as high pressure builds to the east, but at this
range it's still far from certain.
