Just before the train crossed the Thames,from north to south,, out of the right hand windows I suddenly spotted what I am 90% positive was a Vantage Pro AWS. The odd thing was that it sited more or less at carriage level, on as far as I can remember...

Woke up to some disappointing steady rain. Checked the MetO Penzance forecast for 09:00, which was sunny, so must have been halucinating. Hi, All, OT but bright meteor seen from Copley at 1133BST. Seemed to be travelling S to N at an angle roughly 70 degrees to the west. To my non-expert astronomical eye it looked very bright and I could even imagine it touching down! I was in the car at the time, so no sound effects. Any more sightings?
