and by weather regime.
What's the betting they'll fade during a dull winter spell when
much of any low angle sun will be blocked by trees, buildings etc.

Saturday ignored by MO by
Hugh Newbury
Hi:
The Met Office has decided that there will be no Saturday this week:
http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/sw/sw_forecast_radar.html
The question remains: do the data on Sunday refer to Sat or Sun? We must
wait and see.

'space weather' and how the solar wind, flares, CMEs affect us (or don't).
Piers Corbyn was not there which was a pity!
It seems there are quite big effects down to 100 km agl and sometimes...

[WR] Torrential rain, Bournemouth by
Jonathan Stott
And I was caught in it. Not pleasant!
Don't know how much rain there was, but it was enough to inundate the
drainage system and cause water to gush several inches out of manholes.
I certainly wasn't expecting anything so heavy!
