What a coincidence! by

On the day Brogdale was given the acclaim of being officially the warmest
spot in the UK at 38.5C I was due to give a talk no more than about a
kilometre away from the site. So I arrived early and it is indeed the home
of the National Fruit Collection and they kindly showed me over the now
famous Weather station. I managed to photograph it for Weather eye in quite
good weather conditions before...
