Hi, I'm sat here at my computer in Malvern looking out of the window at lots of heavy drizzle/rain. All forecasts I have seen say it will be dry with sunny spells. Even the BBC websites 'current observations' for the area just have mist! What's going on? All forecasts for rain never happen, and then we get rain when it isn't forecast!

As I said in a previous post the sea surface temperature close to the Arctic have gone from a strong +'ve annomally that has been there for about 2 years to areas of -'ve annomally. Is this a change in phase of some sort? Often with the Sea Surface Temperature annomalies are caused by an obvious mechanism.
