Missing chart by
James Brown
Hi,
Would anyone know why the following link is no longer being updated?
http://www.uni-koeln.de/math-nat-fak/geomet/meteo/winfos/arcisoTTPPWW.gif
(Please note line wrap)
The European charts are carrying on fine. I personally found it a useful
guide to Arctic conditions.

(WR) Wet snow and the first frost in N.E. Wales by
David Gartrell
HI there,
Last night I was driving here in Wrexham and we had a shower. in with the
rain hitting the windscreen were a good number of soggy wet large
snowflakes. This was followed this morning by the frost of the winter to
come.
It may be just wishful thinking on my part but I really do feel we're in for
a good winter this year - if you like cold snowy weather that is!

How to improve radio link range: oregon scientific. by
Ahgowonwidya
Hi
I have a oregon scientific weather station thingy, showing fluffy
cloud/ air pressure/ temperature from four areas and a clock.
For some time i have wanted to place sensor number 1
further down the garden away from all trees and "heat traps".
The annoying thing was, whenever i fixed the sensor more
than 60 feet from the house it wouldn't communicate with its base
station.
Now the unit is out...

(WR) Whitefield, M/C - Hail and snow by
Paul Evans
Yep, you read that right,
It hailed a few minites ago (5pm) and now we have fine snowflakes falling as I
type.
Don't know outdoor temp, sorry. (sensor is still reading 18C as a result of
earlier sunlight hitting it)
Paul.
