Gavin, isn't it measured and reasonable to take the word of two of the
worlds formost climatologists?
Why instead would we accept the word of 'Gerald Marsh' who is 'a physicist

program for the U.S. Air...

Accurate Forecasting by
Weatherman
Who was it that came up with the word forecast?
Because it doesn't matter what context the word is used in, whether it be,
Weather forecasting, Production forecasting, Sales forecasting or whatever
type of forecasting. How often is it correct?
I do not blame anyone for having a go, even those with an understanding of a
particular subject, but quite honestly with the weather who has a...

Climate change: its worse than you think by
CCC
CLIMATE CHANGE:
IT'S WORSE THAN YOU THINK
We have heard a lot about climate change and the need to reduce emissions of
greenhouse gases such as CO2. Although we are told that climate change will
lead to an increase in floods, droughts and hurricanes, many people assume
that the changes will be very slow and, for people living in cold climates,
they could mean some nice warm weather.
BUT THE...

Chris Mantle

Who are these weather forecasters as the article seems to miss that and
quote the Met Office saying "The Met Office says that, generally, wintry
weather is more likely early in the deepening cold of January".

Cracks let solar wind disrupt Earth's atmosphere by
Brendan DJ Murphy
21:13 03Dec2003 Cracks let solar wind disrupt Earth's atmosphere
WASHINGTON, Dec 3 (Reuters) - The solar wind pries open immense cracks in the Earth's magnetic
field, holding them apart while it gushes through to cause geomagnetic storms, scientists reported
on Wednesday.
The findings could help scientists better predict the storms, which can disrupt power,
satellites and communications...

No doubts global warming is real, U.S. experts say by
Brendan DJ Murphy
03:14 04Dec2003 No doubts global warming is real, U.S. experts say
WASHINGTON, Dec 3 (Reuters) - There can be no doubt that global warming is real and is being
caused by people, two top U.S. government climate experts said.
Industrial emissions are a leading cause, they say -- contradicting critics, already in the
minority, who argue that climate change could be caused by mostly natural...

waves.
