Has any one ever correlated the number of species and number of birds with temperature? 0900-1000 very light snow at Dawlish, hinting at settling, but turning to sleet now.

Boughton-under-Blean north Kent coast. Light snow 0045/0300, a depth of 2mm at 0900. Snow cover 30%. Some snow flurries for a time around 0900. The overnight temp didn't get above -0.7c. 1100 temp -1.9 and the sun is shining.
