Plenty of Snow but still patchy by
lawrence Jenkins
Well regardless of today's events regarding some **** flooding this NG
(personally I'd break their legs) the weather has been almost pushed into
second place, which is a shame as this is the best down fall I've personally
witnessed since joining this NG around six years ago. I remember a couple of
days ago posting "it Will amount to nothing". Well even though in Siberian
(not) Sydenham there's...

Very light snow shower at about 16.20 GMT, lasting only a couple of
minutes. Extremely small flakes, melting on contact with the ground as
the sun had been out for quite some while beforehand. 3°C now and most
of the cloud has gone again.
Bewdley, Worcs, ~90m asl.

[WR] West Kent by

Snow today from Afternoon. Some heavier pulses this evening. It it was
colder would be some serious problems.... lots of melt, the air just not
cold enough right now, and I can't see the sky clearing. If it does,
nightmare scenario!
So, wet on the roads, snow on the grass pavements.
Just been watching the Crawley vs Morcambe match on Sky.. heavy snow there,
too, so seems heavy snow further west,...

[OT] Spam filter by

It could be worth looking at nfilter at http://www.nfilter.org/ which will
work alongside OE if configured correctly and remove all of the garbage. I
haven't used it myself so I can't vouch for its efficacy or even if it will
work at all as it is no longer supported.
NTL uk.sci.weather is unuseable at the moment so I am using the NIN service
for the time being.

Could you not post messages saying which ISPs you have sent reports to.
The spammer is reading this group and is changing his ISP details at
