12cm level snow cover this morning. Drifts to 1 metre. Snow commenced about 1730hrs, became heavy around 1900hrs, continued until about 0345hrs. Temperature at around -2c during the snow, hovering around -1c at the moment. Not bad in this part of the world (at seal level) from a front approaching from the west.

Where are YOU Graham? Here in Sunderland, near the coast in northeast England, we've had mostly sleety rain, which has now frozen. The sky is now clear and instead of snow, we have ice, ice, baby!
