September sunshine by
Steve J
Although the weather has improved locally over the weekend and early
this week, it has remained rather cloudy, with just limited, even if
warm sunny breaks.
We are now in our eighth week in succession with below average
sunshine in Coventry, and during September so far, the monthly
sunshine total is 46% below normal in our region.
Half way through the month, we have managed just 43.0 hours...

FORECAST. High pressure dominance for the UK out to 29th Sept by
Dawlish
Written by Paul
Friday, 19 September 2008 11:04
It really does look as if high pressure will continue to dominate our
weather. Both the gfs and the ECM show a dry outlook, almost to the
end of the month. I've enough confidence (80%) to forecast that.
So.....
"On Sept 29th, at T240, the UK's weather will continue to be dominated
by high pressure. As always, the precise location of the high...

Penzance 19th Sept. by
Graham Easterling[_2_]
Another perfect day. Temperature at noon 18.3C and rising. Calm
conditions and very little cloud.
The great thing with this set up down here in September is there is no
sea breeze. If this was June there would likely be a stiff sea breeze
knocking the temperature back. Today, I've just come back from a swim
off the Battery Rocks (to the right of the Jubilee...
