Incredible its been snowing from 8am this morning 3hrs of snowfall, although it isnt as cold so we dont have deep snow on the ground from it. Also its turning more sleety now with pellets hitting the window, so it could turn to rain at anytime. What a great end to 2005, looking forward to further snow in 2006 ;) Herne

Temperature rose to +1.7° by 0530 with southerly winds,so not an ice day. However temperature then fell back to +0.1° by 0800. Steady light snow/ice pellets has given a further 1cm of snow to freshen up the rather worn snow from the last couple of days. Lucky it wasn't a Spring tide. All in all, fairly eventful, but not for the predicted reasons.
