Cold and Wet November 2005? by
Victor West
I see from Philip Eden's site http://www.climate-uk.com/ that this November
has currently just nudged to a below average CET and has just moved above
100% rainfall. With the cooler and perhaps wetter weather expected towards
the end of the week, I wonder if this month will provide the cold and wet
November that some would like to see prior to winter.

Net-weather precipitation radar by
Alan Duckers
Net-weather has just introduced 15 min precipitation type radar which uses
Model data to determine whether the echoes are snow, sleet or rain.
There should be a large amount of interesting weather to try out of the
system later in the week :-)

Fog - pic by
ian collins
Sounds silly I know ------but with the pattern of sunny mornings turning
into foggy days this weekend gone I took this at the side of the House
The Fog wall moving across took less than 5 minutes to completely block the
sun.Was a repeat performance the previous day.

A little known weather fact by
Nick
Did you know that 80%+ of all amateur weather forecasters are child
molesters?
And many, if not all, also carry a picture of Paul Francis Gadd (who
they consider to be a God) in their wallet.
Strangely, many of them also originate from Yorkshire - the home of
the paedophile.
So, how many Yorkshire based, weather obsessed paedophiles post here?

Cold snap gives UK retailers hope in Xmas run-up by
Brendan DJ Murphy
12:23 22Nov2005 RTRS-RPT-Cold snap gives UK retailers hope in Xmas run-up
By Trevor Datson, European Retail Correspondent
LONDON, Nov 22 (Reuters) - A cold snap has prompted a rush back to the
high street by British shoppers, giving hope that the all-important run-up
to Christmas will not be the damp squib some retailers had feared, figures
showed on Tuesday.

[WR] Another cold on ein Glenlivet by
Steve Loft
It's -5.6C here at the moment, min -5.7C at 0810. Cloudless sky. I
wasn't expecting it to be so cold last night, did it catch the
forecasters by surprise or did I just miss it?

[WR] mid-norfolk by
wafflycat
This morning is warmer than the last few. No ground frost. Only a slight
mist too as opposed to the thick fog of yesterday. Damp, though, as
everything looks as if it has a wet film over it instead of the frost of the
last few days.

Soil Temp Down by
Richard Griffith
Having looked at the 30cm Soil Temp this month there's been quite a drop,
began the month with temps around 14'C , today (21st) down to 3.5'C
Nov 2004 only saw a slight fall from around 12'C at the beginning of the
month to around 7'C by mid month.
Soil is clay.

Exceptional sunshine by
Norman Lynagh
Today was the 5th consecutive day here with the maximum possible
sunshine hours (and moonshine hours!). I can't imagine that happens very
often, in any month of the year.
It's still clear this evening but damper than recent evenings so perhaps
more of a possibility of fog. Currently (2030z) -0.1C.

USW Mugshots Page by
Les Crossan
Everyone -
I've had to take the mugshots page down as my upstream had become
excessive. I'll put it up in the photogallery soon.
All these folk looking for rob's picture will now be greeted with a 404.
Cheers -
