one for Will by
ronaldbutton
With the demise of the Russian High,it looks like next week will see our
home grown high sink back to it's default position over Biscay, allowing the
takeover of atlantic air again,Presumably that's where the Met Office
outlook is coming from Will, another suckers gap ?

what a change from yesterday...
UK Outlook for Saturday 11 Feb 2012 to Monday 20 Feb 2012:
After a cold, largely dry start across central and southern areas of the
UK, a gradual trend to a generally changeable weather pattern looks to
take place as we move through to mid February. Rain across northwestern
areas (snow on northern hills) will gradually extend southeastwards
through this...

[OBS] Romsey - Monday 6th February 2012 by
Nigel Paice[_3_]
Overcast and dry until 1340Z when rain and drizzle
commenced. The droplets reduced in size and it's
currently all drizzle. Misty with a light and variable
wind throughout, though it's beginning to favour a
N-NE direction. The cloud bases were difficult to
determine earlier in the murk but they're now easier
to assess since they've become so much lower.

Southern bias and snow by
ronaldbutton
Watching that rather excitable weather lady on News 24 at noon,it struck me
that a large part of the British Isles,ie Scotland ,Wales and Ireland are
virtually snow free and enjoying temps in excess of 5 degrees.
Obviousy Southern England ranks the most important part of these sceptered
isles, but one can understand the annoyance experienced by the inhabitants of
our far flung northern and...

Well since the excitement of Saturday the last two days have been horrid,
just about the worst Winter can offer!
Dense fog all day Sunday and it's still here, thaw since Sunday morning with
temperatures between 1.5c and 2.9c.
It's being raining on and off since 01.00 today with 4.2mm in the gauge.
I love cold weather but now I just want all the snow to go and some warmer
weather, can't...
