The low moved further westwards than had originally been forecast, so
snowfalls were restricted mostly to the northern parts of Greece. Alexandroupolis, Kastoria, Florina, Kilkis, Grevena, Naousa, Karditsa, Veroia, Yannitsa, Edessa, Kozani, Ptolemaida, Katerini and the suburbs of Thessaloniki were dressed up in white, while some problems were reported across the road network of Macedonia. Night time temperatures were quite low: Kato Nevrokopi -7C Florina -4C Kastoria -3C suburbs of Thessaloniki in snow: http://assets.in.gr/dGenesis/assets/...o/501723_b.jpg Yannis, SE Athens +8.5C, RH 63%, SLP 1020.2 hPa |
