Did anyone see John Hammond on Celebrity Mastermind and quite good he was
too

He is a big Status Quo fan.

When asked if it was going to get much warmer in the UK due to global
warming, his reply went something like:

'Not necessarily warmer in the UK, we are more likely to get a run of wetter
summers and colder winters', and then swiftly apologised.

Balmy mean temperature of 6.2c here some 0.6c ABOVE our warmest January set
in 2007

I wonder when he'll graduate to grown-up music. It's not as
if he's some teenage herbert. After all, I would keep pretty quiet
about it if I were still a trainspotter.
He's one of the better weather presenters. People are not
all of a piece, it seems.

I'm a Rail Enthusiast. No, I donít jot down train numbers. However,
I'm interested in railways. Be it locomotives, rolling stock, railway
careers and passengers. I like the community feel of the railways.

Trainspotting (Jotting down train numbers) is a way into being
interested in railways but it's not the be all and end all.

As for John Hammond liking Status Quo, so be it, and rock music is not
infantile.

I read somewher that Roy Keane the ex Mnachester United 'ard man- who is not a very nice person, is a big Bob Dylan fan. Somehow doesn't seem right.

"The answer my friend is breaking legs in the wind"

And pretentious Bob Zimmerman is a big fan of Charles Aznavour .

Mind you Tudor, I would have thought John Dowland would have been more your taste.
