I was expecting another fine day tomorrow...
METO Saturday: Early mist and fog will clear quickly then some brightness, but cloud will steadily thicken from the west. Most areas will have some light rain by the evening. Fantastic today after the fog +22c and some garden pruning done. Phil Guildford |

The MetO website says this for the SE: Any early mist, fog and low cloud will clear to leave a dry day with spells of hazy sunshine. Again coastal areas will be a little cooler than inland. Maximum temperature 22 °C. Updated: 1540 on Fri 3 Sep 2010 -- John Hall "I don't even butter my bread; I consider that cooking." Katherine Cebrian |

Updated: 1540 on Fri 3 Sep 2010 That was (is?) the UK forecast issued at 1513 - its still on the website. http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/...t_alltext.html Having looked at the BBC 1 London SE forecast it was all played down - perhaps some spots of rain overnight Sat, and then clearing again Sunday. I'd been assuming that you would have quoted a local forecast. Presumably the SE isn't one of the "most areas". Having looked at the BBC 1 London SE forecast it was all played down - perhaps some spots of rain overnight Sat, and then clearing again Sunday. Which I guess is consistent with the forecast for the SE on the website. -- John Hall "I don't even butter my bread; I consider that cooking." Katherine Cebrian |
