Some hideous numbers popping up from the NAE this morning:

Indeed and it doesn't end there either thanks to the upper vortex moving
south across the North Sea over the weekend. Could make for an interesting
Belgian GP.

From 20.00 CET yesterday until 20.99 CET today I measured 77 mm.
Schiphol airport reported 62 and Twente in the East of The Netherlands 97
mm,
a really wet day you might say.

Sytze, living in Soest, close to the city of Utrecht.
