Oh well although some more snow would have been appreciated by me I can't
complain about this winter. Me and my boy were trimming back some trees today in my garden as a good neighbour does, it was cold and my son started singing 'Here Comes the Sun'. It reminded me of when George Harrison wrote that song right at the end of the sixties when those winters were sure cold and long; that's how this winter has felt Here's the story courtesy of Wiki but I knew it already "Here Comes the Sun" was written at the time when Apple was getting like school, where we had to go and be businessmen: 'Sign this' and 'sign that'. Anyway, it seems as if winter in England goes on forever, by the time spring comes you really deserve it. So one day I decided I was going to sag off Apple and I went over to Eric Clapton's house. The relief of not having to go see all those dopey accountants was wonderful, and I walked around the garden with one of Eric's acoustic guitars and wrote "Here Comes The Sun". From the song 'Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here Here comes the sun, here comes the sun And I say it's all right' Nice words though and aptly weather related plus this last several months reminds me the reason George wrote the song.
