I am trying to find something better than the standard "average daily low for month" data. That doesn't tell me how cold it's likely to get in January. Each year a given city has a lowest low for January. Data has been kept for years. Where do I find the average of those lowest lows over all the years data has been kept? UNISYS surface temp map anomaly by wboas@nyx.net
On the 12Z Sept 27 UNISYS weather surface temperature map there was a hot spike over UTAH that could only have been some sort of graphic computer glitch - not a real temperature gradient - I assume. I captured the image and posted it at: www.nyx.net/~wboas/anomaly.gif If anyone has any thoughts I'd welcome comment. I sent a query to UNISYS, awaiting reply...
