The releases of data so far have been interesting.
They all closely agree with the published estimating

In the Northern Hemisphere, November tied for 5th warmest on the 130-
year NASA record.
In the real world,
outside the fossil fuel industry's spin and lies,
global mean surface temperatures continue to rise.
These hemispherically averaged temperature data come from NASA,

November 2009 National Weather Summary by

NATIONAL WEATHER SUMMARY
NOVEMBER 2009
1st-7th…A few small disturbances kicked up multiple areas of active
weather over the US on Monday. A low pressure system in Eastern Canada
produced a cold front that swept through the Great Lakes and extended
down the Mississippi River Valley. However, strong moist flow was not
present to feed moisture into system, thus, only a few scattered
showers popped...

Can this volcano's climate cooling be detected? by
Roger Coppock
Please see:
http://apnews1.iwon.com//article/20091221/D9CNSE2O0.html
Typically, large volcanos inject dust into the stratosphere, causing
climate cooling for a year or two. That signal should be detectable
in the published global temperature series, both surface and
satellite. We'll have the data in about a couple of years. Stay
tuned and see.

A "humongous" and deadly winter storm is spreading across the US Midwest,
with freezing rain and heavy snow causing road and air transport chaos.
The worst of the storm is expected to hit late on Thursday and dump up to
2ft (61 cm) of snow by Christmas Day.
