Hello, Ok I know it´s a strange question. Is there e ralationship between the pressure an the size of a rain drop ? Perhaps the change of the internal pressure destsbelizes the droplet Thanks

September 15th to 22nd 2008. 09:13 So the clean-up begins. Both the USA and Britain were hit with flooding in the last group of spells. The first week was the worst for Britain but a train of hurricanes caused one problem after another in the Gulf of Mexico. The half of an island called Haiti was devastated but who cares about them? We don't even know what went on in the half called San...

It will be interesting to see how it goes. http://www.cuckney.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/weather/Dorridge.htm Once again Britain is dividing two high pressure areas.(nearly 140 mb.) New weather phenomenon? by Fievel Mousekewitz Sr \(Not A CT'er\)
I watched large areas of clear skis, suddenly have large paths of clouds on radar. Nothing I can remember from weather science explains this. Where did they just suddenly appear from? I've seen this a few time throughout the year. But have no idea why it happens. Large body of water, water condenses. Clouds form as they eventually come over land as moisture forms into rain and storms. Larger...

Permafrost and volcanic ash by Weatherlawyer
From what I can gather from the Science page of the New York Times; and article on it suggests that permafrost might be capable of surviving global warming. I can't really follow the argument as it seems a little disjointed: "....a study published in Science suggests that the impact of warming on the permafrost may not be as bad as forecast. The evidence comes in the form of a wedge of ancient...
