30th August to 7th September 2008: 19:58 this is a new moon.
http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/phase/phase2001gmt.html
So now we start looking at the various previews of the next spell?
This is a lot of work for a lazy man. And involves convolutions I am
not capable of keeping in my head, simple as they may appear to othr
people.

Pre science by
Weatherlawyer
I was just looking at the clock earlier today and noticed for the
first time that it was pointing at three axioms of Weatherlawyer's
tenets:
10, 7 and 2:30
With the hands on the first 2 numbers the resultant indicated was to
2:30, the idealised lunar spell for tornadoes.
10 o'clock is the spell (I believe) that tends to produce volcanic

What happened to the NOAA's Climate Change Report? by
Fievel Mousekewitz Sr \(Not A CT'er\)
As the subject thread states.
What happened to their original report?
Their original report predicted things to keep
getting worse and worse breaking down a 30
year period.
It left you hanging after a 30 year time span, wondering, what's next?
Now their predicting 2100? That's when it's going to get the worst?
Does our NOAA know what they're talking about themselves?
Fievel.

Vantage Pro Wireless Ranges by
dave.shar9@gmail.com
Hi All,
Am trying to setup a Davis VP2 on a barge in the middle of an estuary
distance from shore is 630m line of sight. Davis' spec for their solar
wireless repeaters are 300m max. Anybody had any experience with these
units over 300m?
Cheers

Hurricane Gustav Up-Date by
Fievel Mousekewitz Sr \(Not A CT'er\)
The NOAA just phoned,,..
What happened with the eye? It moved onshore, then
the storm gained a new eye. So they ended up getting
hit with two eyes.
I see anything else that confuses me, I'll call our NOAA again.

The China Syndrome by
Weatherlawyer
That major quake in Szechuan China some weeks ago occurred with quite
a spate of tornadoes in the USA. This led me to suspect that there is
a relationship with them.
Some years ago I noticed a relationship with my (mild) arthritis and
earthquakes, then storms in Madagasgar then tornadoes in the USA. I
get crick of discomfort from a cycling injury a long time ago.
For some reason I thought I...

Political Activism with Balloons Questions by
moderatemammal@yahoo.com
I'm thinking of using balloons as a technique for political activism.
Mainly an Americans first anti-globalist theme with specifics such as
illegal immigration.
Some of the ideas include:
Regular sized balloons with a string and a tag with message.
Those very large "Latex" balloons or perhaps a proper weather
balloon.....those that one sees at car dealers and grand openings with

Raw Weather Satellite images by
roger@dxz7.com
Do any of the folks in this group use a radio to gather weather data?
If you do, what radio do you have? What software/hardware do you use
to decode the images and data?
I bring this up for discussion, not to suggest your favorite web URL
for wx data.

Hurricane Gustav ... any gusses where it will make landfall? by
roger@dxz7.com
Hi all,
For the sake of discussion, anyone have any guesses where Hurricane
Gustav will make landfall? A bit early I know but what the heck, I'll
toss out my guess and say 25-50 miles east of New Orleans and a strong

Weatherlawyer
23rd to 30th August 2008 23:50.
This is an easy one. Overcast with mists or drizzle rather than rain.
And as it will have an hurricane in it too that will modify the spell
for the UK to 1 hour back for each increase in hurricane strength.
So how much is the change value from nothing to hurricane? Can I take
5 M as a stasis?
And even a cat 5 storm requires stasis.

Fievel,,.. (If a twister heads this way, I'm going to find closet, get into
