So the clean-up begins.
Both the USA and Britain were hit with flooding in the last group of
spells. The fist week was the worst for Britain but a train of
hurricanes caused one problem after another in the Gulf of Mexico.
The half of an island called Haiti was devastated but who cares about
them? We don't even know what went on in the half called San Salvador.

7 to 15 September: 14:04.
6 hours different to the preceding phase. That's a set-up.
13 hours since the ANDAMAN ISLANDS, INDIA REGION quake and counting.
5.2 M.
....but of course it is going to be different in some respects. It's
just that we get a cluster of variegated stuff like these:

Lets talk about the weather .. a question. by
roger@dxz7.com
Lets talk about the weather.
Here is the question. Why does a relatively cloud free area known as
the "Eye" form in a Hurricane, Typhoon, or Cyclone? (Tropical systems
please and keep it earthquake free)

typical weather at geographic location by
joel paula
How can I get information about typical sun hours, rain fall and
temperature in a determined date/week/month for any given geographical
location?
Suppose somebody is visiting Lisbon, in Portugal at the second week of
January. What temperature, amount of rain and sunshine he or she can
expect? Mean values for a given week or month would be enough.
I need to get that information in a database for...

markandkori@sbcglobal.net
Hi,
Would anyone have any idea where to find a record of rainfall in a
particular area? We've gotten 5 inches today and are trying to find
out the last time there was that much in one day. Only site we found
wanted $20 for a report....
Thanks!

Read one about Katrina.
Many people there claimed she
didn't start tornadoes.. Ike already spun
up many tornadoes...

I've never saw a storm traveling almost due north before.
But, it appears like Ike is doing just that..

Ike by

He's sure taking his time coming onshore.
02:27 and still, his eye is not onshore.
I thought Ike's eye would've already made landfall.

y-Ike-s! by
Coffee in Madrid
Looks like track of Ike may follow the path of low pressure created by
Hanna. I wonder if it broke any records on rapid intensification.
Y-Ike-s is Cat 4 pinwheel-type atlantic typhoon.
Miamians will be shaking in their boots. Even Sarah Palin can't cool the
oceans with her magic wand of republican doom.

...Arctic Sea Ice is Going Fast....Very Fast! by

This is really sad.
Just like all the C02 data, the seventies and eighties is when global warming
became rather obvious.

Mount McKinley by

My focus has been wrong.
I should be focusing on the areas of Mount McKinley that are slowly
but surely becoming bare.
I was trying to find older pictures.. There have always been
bare spots, but it's growing.
