Twas cold (5C) and windy (5B), especially in flat country.

Thanks. My SX210 is always with me.
Occasionally I try to carry my 50D with all it's gear in a Lowepro 190, then
my shoulder has to recover at least two days.;-)
Maybe I'll buy a Slingshot...

If that's the LP "Nova 190" I admire your taste 'cause I have the same one.
But my Sigma 150-500 doesn't fit 8-)

I've been looking at some of the all-in-one superzooms myself. Bum
heart makes it a chore to haul the DSLR, Bigma and stuff around these
days. Feel like I'm kind of selling out after 40 years, though...

Well, maybe consider purchasing a Powershot SX30/40. Great imagequality and
MEGA zoom. I would...;-)

I will take a look, thanks!

Kind of waiting for release and reviews of the Fuji FinePix HS30EXR -
has RAW capture and what looks like a decent video option. I've
wanted to play a bit with video for a change.

Do plan to keep the DSLR kit for "serious shooting" (i.e., somebody
gives me a ride. ;} )

Jim, I've been considering getting one of the Sigma 150 - 500 OS Lens'
for my Nikon, considered the 50 - 500 but for the extra K buck I'll haul the
extra Lens it'd overlap. Turns out I'm getting interested in taking Bird
Pics and there's LOTS of'em around here! ;-) How do you like it??
