Default Thursday Sunrise in KC

It ain't spring here either, but the warmup starts tomorrow. This was a few
minutes ago minus 4F; minus 20C. Kansas City, Missouri.

Fog off a River? It really looks like Smoke off a Grass fire.

Good observation, Ed. I am not really sure those are not clouds, but they
do look funny. When I took the pic I was wondering if this might be the
source - the wind and placement are about right. The main source of the
steam would be two larger cooling towers, one of which is partly visible on
the left. This is a government industrial plant.

It's hard to not tie the Steam to Congress................... It it
a small electric generating power plant?

It's hard to not tie the Steam to Congress................... It it
a small electric generating power plant?

The government doesn't say much about what goes on there - they make
"non-nuclear components for nuclear bombs" there, whatever that means. I
think the large cooling towers on the left are part of the HVAC, maybe.
Don't know what goes on in the larger building, but I'm pretty sure they
don't generate electricity there.
