Given your posted Temps and the Storms you showed I'm guessing the
second it's warm enough to enjoy being out side the Black Flies, No
See'ms'
and Mosquitoes run you folks right back inside! ;-)

Daytime weather is great right now and AFA bugs go, well I have spent some
hours each day of the last week outside and I don't think I have much in the
way of bites to show for it-no repellent used either. Mosquitoes require
standing water to breed and June, usually are wettest month, was very dry.
(Avg77mm actual 44mm) 02 was the last year we were under the avg with 03-08
substantially over including our 245mm in 05. So no mosquitoes so far. And
black flies and no see'ums are creatures of much farther north than me. In
other words, with its hours of sunshine, temps in the low-mid 20's, low
humidity, cool nights, enough clouds to warrant a picture or two and at the
moment no bugs, Calgary is displaying all the reasons I consider its climate
to be the best in Canada. If only it lasted longer before the snow flies
again.
