Thunder and hail here in Branksome Poole about 15:20. Very slow moving thundery showers. Heavy rain with some large hail. A big group of staff gathered to watch a very menicing dark cloud with rotation that could be seen very clearly. One member of staff got a lump on his head from a very large piece of hail approx 12mm diametre. Heardly a breath of wind. Clouds seem to be forming in situ.

Easterlies and northeasterlies blew throughout the first ten days and the last week, while westerlies prevailed during the middle segment.
